What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit a website. It allows information about your browsing to be stored.

Cookies used on this site

We've chosen a minimal cookie policy. Specifically:

• Strictly necessary cookies: none are needed to browse. A single functional cookie may exist if you completed the Blueprint diagnostic — see point 03.
• Analytics cookies: we use Plausible Analytics, a European tool hosted in the EU. Plausible drops no cookies and uses no fingerprint that could identify a visitor. Statistics are 100% anonymous and aggregated. It runs without consent precisely because it tracks no one.
• Advertising cookies: only with your agreement. When advertising campaigns are active (Google, Meta, LinkedIn), a consent banner appears on the first page: until you accept, no advertising tracker is loaded and no data reaches those platforms. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and your choice is remembered by one technical cookie (tarteaucitron, 12 months). If no banner shows, no campaign is active: the site then drops no advertising cookie at all.
• Typefaces: they are hosted on the site itself, so your browser contacts neither Google nor any other service to display them.

Browsing memory

The site remembers a few things inside your browser, so it doesn't ask you a question you have already answered. Nothing is sent to a server, cross-referenced with your identity, or used for advertising:

• The last profile viewed (nm_segment, local storage, 60 days): the “Who we serve” page you opened last. It is used to surface cases and insights from your field rather than generic content. You can erase it in one click from the “Not my ground” control on the home page.
• Whether you took the diagnostic (nm_blueprint, local storage or functional cookie, 60 days): if you have already completed the Blueprint, the site stops offering it and points you to a conversation instead. None of the diagnostic's own data is stored here.
• Where the visit came from (nm_from_ai, session storage): erased when you close the tab.
• Your reading comfort settings (nm-comfort, local storage): larger text, stronger contrast, reduced motion, only if you turn them on yourself. Kept until you turn them off.

Nothing is inferred behind your back: personalisation relies only on what you clicked yourself. No IP-based company identification, no behavioural scoring, no resale.

Lifetime

Audience measurement (Plausible) drops no cookie. Advertising cookies (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) are dropped only with your consent, when a campaign is active, and for the duration each platform sets; your consent choice is remembered for 12 months by the technical tarteaucitron cookie. The other data kept are the local-memory entries described above: 60 days at most for the profile and the diagnostic, the session for the visit origin, and until you turn them off for your comfort settings.
